ROYAL OAK, Mich. – The Association for Women in Communications Detroit Chapter has elected a new board for 2013- 2014. The officers, who begin their duties on July 1, are:

Vice President, Programs – Deniella Ortiz-Lalain, director of Communications, OpTech, LLC, Troy
Vice President, Membership – Margery Krevsky, CEO, Productions Plus – The Talent Shop, Southfield
Treasurer – Vera Ogletree, communications planner, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Detroit
Secretary – Jennifer Fiddler, director of Operations, Productions Plus – The Talent Shop, Southfield
About The Association for Women in Communications
The Association for Women in Communications (AWC) represents a new way of thinking about collaboration with like-minded professionals while promoting and developing individual career goals. Membership is open to professionals and students in all disciplines of communications. The local organization was established in 1938.
