‘Pacman’ Jones Pleads Not Guilty To Slapping Woman

Cinncinati Bengals star player Adam “Pacman” Jones (pictured) pleaded not guilty to assault charges, stemming from his arrest on Monday for allegedly striking a woman in the face after she allegedly threw a beer bottle at him. The plea was entered a day after he was jailed then released on his own recognizance, according to The Washington Post.[1] The incident, which was caught on a surveillance tape, occurred at a downtown Cincinnati nightclub shortly before midnight on June 5th. Jones reportedly approached two women, who were sitting outside of the establishment. A third woman, whom police investigators have identified as 34-year-old Shannon Wesley, is seen walking over to Jones in a seemingly confrontational manner. The woman is seen reaching for the 29-year-old NFL cornerback’s face, but the video is so grainy that it is difficult to determine whether the woman has an object in her hand.
