WASHINGTON — D.C. police say shots were fired just blocks from the White House (pictured) following an armed robbery attempt. Police say three suspects, including at least one with a gun, approached two people and tried to rob them. D.C. police spokesman Araz Alali says the victims began following the suspects in their car, and that one of the suspects fired shots. No one was injured. Alali says no one was immediately in custody. When two pitbulls rushed through the hole of a chain linked fence and attacked an 11-year-old boy and his 5-year-old sister in Dublin, Ga., big brother took charge. Scroll down for video According to 13 WMAZ-TV[1], Maleik Carr (pictured) and his sister Jalia walk through a backyard along the fence to get to the school bus stop each day. But on Monday morning, they were met by the two angry dogs. “The brown and white dog ran to the other side, jumped out of the fence and the black one did too, and they started snapping at Jalia. So I ran over there started kicking them away from her, and they bit me. And I told Jalia to run,” says Maleik. She dashed across the street as her big bro bravely battled the two pitbulls. When they started biting on his legs, he took his sister’s toy chair and began beating them with it.
