Hip-hop mogul and brow-raising businessman Marion “Suge” Knight (pictured right) was shot in the leg back in 2005 at an MTV Video Music Awards pre-party in Miami that musician Kanye West was hosting. At the time, police investigators did have their who-done-it suspicions, but never took anyone into custody for the shooting. Now a federal informant has stepped forward to provide details about the attempted hit on Knight, which was allegedly ordered by former music executive and now convicted drug trafficker, James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond (pictured left), according to The Smoking Gun[1]. The informant, who has only been identified by the moniker “CW-3” (Confidential Witness 3), reportedly told authorities that he was hired by his longtime associate Rosemond to shoot Knight. The gunman alleged that Rosemond, who was coincidentally in attendance at the party, not only paid him $10,000 but handed him a gun to use for the shooting. The motive for the shooting is still unknown.

Kanye West famously quit Twitter — after a slew of infamous rants — and stopped following everyone (except Kim Kardashian). He’s only peeped his head in a few times since then, and tonight, he posted the rant to end all rants directed toward…wait for it…Jimmy Kimmel. The late night host decided to mock West’s BBC interview with Zane Lowe, during which he called himself a God and claims that Steven Spielberg and George Lucas stole one of his ideas. See a clip below: After Kimmel mocked West’s “leather jogging pants” idea, he had two children recreate the interview with hilarious results.See clip below:West, true to form, does not take jokes at his expense well, and decided to let loose on Twitter in an unexpected flurry of tweets directed at the “manipulative,” unfunny Kimmel:Say it with your chest, Kanye.Kimmel, of course, is enjoying every minute of it. Kardashian family matriarch Kris Jenner pulled no punches on her show Kris Friday night when responding to President Barack Obama‘s subjectively defamatory remarks about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. During an interview with David Blum for Kindle Singles[1], Obama reflected on the distortion of the American Dream, blaming hyper-exposure to “the rich and famous” for youth having unrealistic perspectives of what qualifies as success. According to the POTUS, instead of striving for a quality education and a good job, young people now seek an extravagant lifestyle: “The American Dream involved some pretty basic stuff. A good job where you felt some security. A good education… People felt if they worked hard they could get there… I don’t think people went around saying to themselves, ‘I need to have a 10,000-square-foot house’… I think, there has also been a shift in culture. We weren’t exposed to the things we didn’t have in the same way that kids these days are
