Cinncinati Bengals star player Adam “Pacman” Jones (pictured) pleaded not guilty to assault charges, stemming from his arrest on Monday for allegedly striking a woman in the face after she allegedly threw a beer bottle at him. The plea was entered a day after he was jailed then released on his own recognizance, according to The Washington Post.[1] The incident, which was caught on a surveillance tape, occurred at a downtown Cincinnati nightclub shortly before midnight on June 5th. Jones reportedly approached two women, who were sitting outside of the establishment. A third woman, whom police investigators have identified as 34-year-old Shannon Wesley, is seen walking over to Jones in a seemingly confrontational manner. The woman is seen reaching for the 29-year-old NFL cornerback’s face, but the video is so grainy that it is difficult to determine whether the woman has an object in her hand. A 64-year-old Detroit man is recovering at a local hospital after he was viciously stabbed at a gas station. The unidentified victim spoke to Fox 2 News Detroit[1] about the attack that took place around 5 a.m. He says he was approached by a would-be-thief who demanded money. Soon after the demand, the attack began. At first, the thief began punching him. Then the punches turned to stabbing and continued until he passed out. “I didn’t realize that I was bleeding until I hit the floor,” he said. “All the blood started coming out and I got real weak and I couldn’t move.” The victim was left with stab wounds in his chest and abdomen. He is expected to recovery, but may have to undergo surgery Friday. Police said they’ve arrested a 27-year old Detroit man who lived near the gas station where the attack took place. MINNEAPOLIS — A Minneapolis woman says her 2-year-old son was traumatized by a man accused of slapping the boy and calling him a racial slur during an Atlanta-bound flight. The boy’s mother, Jessica Bennett, said in a statement Saturday that her son has become “apprehensive to strangers” since the Feb. 8 flight from Minneapolis.
