
DETROIT RECREATION DEPARTMENT TO HOST SAFE SUMMER YOUTH JAM & FAMILY HEALTH FAIR ON JUNE 26
Your family could win prizes, play games and get health screenings at the City of Detroit Recreation Department’s Safe Summer Youth Jam & Family Health Fair on Thursday, June 26, from noon – 6 p.m. at the Butzel Family Center, located at 7737 Kercheval near Van Dyke. This special free day of activities will include a health fair from noon – 3 p.m. and youth festivities from2-6 p.m. Activities include games, prizes, inflatables, arts and crafts, food, and health screenings.
Adult and senior registration will be held at 11:30 a.m. Youth registration will be at 1 p.m. There will also be a bike raffle for children ages 5-18 for kids pledging to be safe for the summer.
