Detroiters who live close by the Stellantis Mack Assembly Plant on the east side of Detroit reported that smells from the plant are making their throats burn, WDIV reported.
“It’s a burning in my throat,” said Victoria Thomas in the article. “It’s like a chemical burn.”
Thomas noted that her throat was in so much pain, she had to contact the Stellantis (formerly FCA) assembly plant on Thursday. She told personnel there that the plant fumes were hurting her throat and eyes, according to the article.
