Sock Panda, an online, e-commerce subscription sock company that donates a pair of socks for each pair bought, has embarked on a cross-country trip to meet and thank customers during the Holiday Season and deliver socks to the needy throughout the country. Sock Panda will be hand-delivering 100 pairs of socks per city, as well as encouraging customers to donate unneeded or unused socks.
Sock Panda’s nationwide tour kicked off in San Francisco, CA on December 6, 2014 and ends in Boston, MA on December 21, 2014. People can follow the tour on Instagram at Sock Panda’s account – @TheSockPanda – as well as join the company as it makes stops throughout the country. The schedule for the tour can be found at www.sockpanda.com/sockdrive, and customers and fans are encouraged to come join the company in its celebration of its charitable component and its customers.
Sock Panda is visiting the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, 12900 W. Chicago Ave. Detroit, MI 48228, Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 3:30 PM.
“We are really excited to make the world a better place with socks,” says David Peck, CEO of Sock Panda. “While we did the usual Black Friday and Cyber Monday specials, the company decided to take a holiday tour to meet and thank our customers, but more importantly, to donate socks across the country.”
David and the Sock Panda mascot will stop in 13 cities to donate men’s, women’s and children’s socks to local organizations.
