Snoop Dogg is keeping his proverbial foot on the necks of professional sports leagues owners after he made some straight-to-the-point commentary recently about the lack of Black representation in these respective worlds, Black Enterprise reported.
In an exclusive interview with The New York Times, the cannabis-friendly businessman and artist discussed in debt about there not being enough Black team owners, especiallly in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the National Football League (NFL), according to the article. The lack of representation with the number of Black players in both leagues in comparison to the owners is a problem that should be addressed, according to Snoop Dogg.
Snoop says, “I mean, you would think that those businesspeople up top would say: “You know what? It’s time to change the world. We’ve got to stop treating Black people like they’re less. They’re always the ones who do the hard work, the groundwork, but we never cut them in.”
