Wayne County Sheriff Benny N. Napoleon along with AFSCME Local 3317 and the Wayne County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association/Police Officers Association of Michigan will host a “No Child Without a Christmas” fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 2 at the TV Lounge, 2548 Grand River, just east of Motor City Casino. Admission is $20.
All proceeds will be used to purchase gifts for less fortunate children that will be delivered at Christmas.
The fundraiser will include a live auction and raffle prizes. In addition, a $500 Santa Donation; $250 Reindeer Donation or $100 Elf Donation are encouraged. Checks should be payable to WCSO Youth & Senior Education Fund, 4747 Woodward, Detroit, Mi. 48201.
