There’s still time for individuals who are at least 50 years of age to show off their skills by participating in the 32nd Annual Detroit Senior Olympics, which began today and runs through Wednesday, June 15.
Interested participants may register on-site at Williams Recreation Center, 8431 Rosa Parks Blvd., on June 14, or at Adams/Butzel Complex, 10500 Lyndon, on June 15. The on-site registration fee is $25.
The Senior Olympics, sponsored by the Detroit Parks & Recreation Department and the Detroit Area Agency on Aging, features a wide variety of sports events, games, and other activities including golf, bowling, swimming, basketball, track, and horseshoes, frisbee toss, table tennis, arts & crafts and baking.
