“I’ve always wanted to create a consumer-driven line, and with all the changes in the restaurant industry due to COVID-19, I decided this was a great time to diversify,” Lowry says of the launch. “Today’s home cooks expect an elevated product. Professionally trained in culinary school, Lowry spent much of his career as a chef in high-end restaurants before determining that he wanted a better quality of life than a restaurant kitchen could provide. Using his skills, knowledge and experience, Lowry begin creating and streamlining the process of making large quantities of rubs, spices, breadings, batters, and more for chef friends in the industry, which ultimately led to the development Red Goose Spice Co. in 2002.
Through Red Goose Spice Co., Lowry manufactures large-quantities of these products and distributes them to restaurants, resorts, country clubs, casinos, universities, and the like across the United States. Lowry launched Savvy Goose Foods, featuring 10 versatile and user-friendly seasonings and rubs created specifically for direct consumer use.
