Roderick A. Hardamon (“Rod”), a Detroit native, is the CEO & Chief Strategist of URGE Imprint, an integrated boutique management consulting firm headquartered in Detroit, MI. Urge Imprint is a consortium of diverse professionals who focus on helping clients ideate and execute. We pride ourselves on intellectual instigation rooted in honesty and partnership.

Rod is also the CEO of URGE Development Group, a real estate development firm focused on systemic change in urban communities through creative place keeping and placemaking. Mr. Hardamon leverages his twenty years of experience in strategy, business innovation, mergers and acquisitions, diversity and inclusion, educational consultation, fundraising, capital markets and operational transformation to support the needs of each client called into partnership with the firm.

He is also the Managing Director for the Ebiara Fund. Ebiara, is a first of its kind fund that provides Equity Replacement Capital and resources to support the growth of Detroit’s Black and Brown-owned development firms as they work to grow and strengthen Detroit neighborhoods. Launched Juneteenth 2022, Ebiara has invested in portfolio companies stimulating over $50M of development.
