Reports: Joe Dumars Out As Pistons President

According to reports, Former Detroit Piston Bad Boy Joe Dumars is out as President of the Detroit Pistons.
ESPN.com reports:

Detroit has decided not to renew Dumars’ contract as president of basketball operations, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press on Sunday. The person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the team has not made any announcement on Dumars’ future.

The same source reported that Dumars will stay on with the Pistons as a adviser. Dumars became the Pistons president in 2000 and during his tenure he received the ‘Executive of The Year’ award in 2003 and a championship title in 2004. The Detroit Pistons has not won a championship since 2004.
