Patients Are now Able to Schedule Doctors Appointments on Saturdays
Effective May 9, Professional Medical Center will extend hours of operation to include Saturday hours at its northwest Detroit medical center which is located at 20901 Seven Mile Road, Detroit, Michigan. Patients will now have the option of scheduling doctor’s appointments on the second Saturday of every month. The doctor’s office will be open for business from 9 am to noon.
The new change will help to accommodate those patients that cannot make it to the doctor during the week and to take care unexpected illnesses.
“We’re excited about our new hours. We want to make our facilities as accessible to the community as possible to get the care they need,” said Robin Cole, president and CEO of Professional Medical Centers. “This is a beginning and we’re hoping to eventually be able to open every Saturday to better serve the community.”
The current business hours are Monday – Friday 9 am to 5 pm. This is the first of their five locations to offer Saturday hours.
The West Seven Mile location offers internal and family medicine practices to patients that may need immunizations or more serious conditions. The Professional Medical Centers staff of trusted physicians include Dr. Arti Subramanian, who is boarded in both internal medicine and pediatrics to solve diagnostic problems, chronic illness and children’s illnesses; Dr. Hester Pernell, certified in internal medicine with a primary focus on adults and seniors; and Mr. Clifford Owhor, a boarded physician’s assistant who treats chronic illnesses and physical health care needs of the entire family.
