Start the new year at a Detroit newcomer. Punch Bowl Social. Located at 1331 Broadway Street in Detroit, Punch Bowl Social will host an 80s themed New Year’s Eve party on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
Guests are encouraged to come in dressed in his or her best 80s attire. A DJ will take the crowd back in time and the year will end in grand style with a balloon drop at midnight. There will be no cover. The venue is 21 and over after 10 p.m.
Punch Bowl Social brings classic entertainment, culinary refinement and an acclaimed beverage program under one roof. The gastro diner is known for its Dirty Modern style which combines industrial, Victorian, modern and Colorado mountain lodge design into a 24,000 square foot complex that offers bowling, ping pong, shuffleboard, darts, pinball, foosball, pool, board games, corn hole, ski ball, retro video games, private karaoke rooms and a photo booth.
