Recipient Rights Specialist
Salary Range $46,357 to 60,487 (Annually)
General Summary of Position:
Rights Specialists act as regulatory officers enforcing the Mental Health Code, Administrative Rules, OCCMHA policies and procedures, and Public Acts as mandated under state law. Rights Analysts act as advocates to inform recipients of their rights and assists them in problem solving within the Rights & Advocacy unit. This may entail working cooperatively with but not limited to, Customer Services, Due Process or other units within OCCMHA.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required.
Work Experience:
- Have had at least one (1) year work experience in an administrative, rights advisor, caseworker capacity or related position.
- Experience with mental health services preferred.
- Investigative experience preferred.
