Wayne County Treasurer Eric Sabree joined Michigan Chronicle NEWS NOW to talk about the importance of The Michigan Homeowner Assistance Fund (MI-HAF). The program was recently launched by the State of Michigan using federal dollars.

The fund is designed to assist Detroit/Wayne County homeowners with pandemic related hardships, such as delinquent property taxes.

Wayne County residents may apply for up to $25,000 to help cover delinquent taxes for the 2019, 2020 and 2021 tax years.
