New Economy Initiative to Kick-off the 2nd Annual NEIdeas Small Business Challenge

 The New Economy Initiative (NEI) and the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation (DEGC) are inviting small business owners from across Detroit, Highland Park and Hamtramck to the Bel Air 10 Digital Theater in Detroit on Thursday, April 16^th from 10am-12pm to learn more about the 2015 NEIdeas: Rewarding Ideas for Business Growth.  NEI awarded more than $500,000 to 36 existing small businesses through the inaugural NEIdeas in 2014.
Attendees can mix and mingle over light refreshments in the theater atrium with last year’s NEIdeas winning business owners, along with program Ambassadors and representatives from NEI and DEGC.  The first formal information session of 2015 will then take place in the theater to provide potential applications with the details for NEIdeas in 2015 and opportunities to win $10,000 or $100,000 for their business. The full schedule of information sessions will be released on that day.
