Residential opportunities are becoming more and more of a hot commodity for residents of downtown Detroit.
The latest housing offering – DuCharme Place – is coming to Detroit’s Lafayette Park.
Construction will begin this Friday after a press conference discussing the new development. City officials, business leaders and leads on the project are expected to be in attendance.
The development will include 107 two-bedroom apartments, 66 one-bedroom and 12 studios situation in four medium-rise buildings. Sachse Construction will manage the construction of the structures and the architects of the project are McIntosh Poris Associates.
The city of Detroit and the Michigan Strategic Fund are contributing to the project as well.
The $45 million upscale development will offer a state of the art fitness facility, enclosed parking and a pool. The expected monthly rates will range from $900 to $1800.
