DraftKings Inc. and Live! Hospitality & Entertainment opened the country’s first DraftKings Sports & Social venue today at Somerset Collection, Michigan’s exclusive luxury shopping destination in Troy. Created with the sports fan in mind, DraftKings Sports & Social offers guests a high-energy, first-class dining and entertainment experience.
The venue debuted to applause and fanfare as DraftKings and Sports & Social leadership were joined by local officials and members of the Detroit Pistons organization to cut the ceremonial ribbon. Speakers included DraftKings Sr. VP of Business & Development Jeremy Elbaum, COO of Live! Hospitality & Entertainment Scott Steenrod, Mayor of Troy Ethan Baker, President & CEO of Troy Chamber of Commerce Tara Tomcsik-Husak, Pistons analyst and former player Grant Long and Somerset Collection General Manager Kate Millea.

DraftKings Sports & Social offers fans an immersive sports entertainment atmosphere, the next best game watching experience outside of a stadium or arena. Highlighted by a state-of-the-art 32-foot LED media wall, game days will feature an electric environment with elements such as emcees and DJs, live fan-cams, competitions and games, and industry-leading audio and visual displays including music and light effects. Eligible guests will enjoy DraftKings’ guest-friendly mobile platforms to place bets using the DraftKings Sportsbook and Casino products along with playing daily fantasy sports from their mobile devices across various sports, including football, basketball, baseball, golf, MMA, soccer, tennis and more, while watching multiple games live.
DraftKings Sports & Social will serve up an elevated gastropub menu of made-from-scratch items for lunch and dinner seven days a week, as well as brunch on the weekends. Signature menu items include upscale versions of game day favorites including burgers, sandwiches, salads, nachos and wings; specialty drinks like Sports & Social’s signature Crush cocktails; and a variety of beers ranging from national brews to local favorites. On a weekly basis, guests will be able to enjoy special food and beverage-focused events, including a brunch experience on Saturdays and Sundays with the venue’s famous #brunchtails table drinks and menu favorites like Chicken & Bliss, avocado toast and savory breakfast skillets.
The 10,400 square-foot space, located in the stand-alone building adjacent to Somerset Collection South, includes an exclusive DraftKings Lounge that can be utilized for private parties and events, as well as a dog-friendly outdoor patio that offers an enjoyable setting for al fresco dining, live music, and socializing with family and friends. The venue offers live music and entertainment multiple days a week, as well as a wide variety of social games, such as skeeball, hoops, Beirut, foosball, shufflepuck and arcade games.
