Returning to Edgewood Country Club in Commerce Twp. for a 2-Woman Scramble on Monday, July 8, is one of the highlights of the 2013 MWGA golf season. Play begins with a 9:00am shotgun from the women’s front tees at 5374 yards. The course is a favorite of MWGA golfers. World renowned golf architect, Arthur Hills undertook renovation of the golf course in 1989. He rebuilt and reshaped greens, added bunkers and resurfaced cart paths.

The member fee for 18 holes, cart, range balls and prizes is $63; non-member $83; plus an optional $10 to participate in contests such as chip-ins and closest to the flagstick. Women playing as non-members will receive a $20 certificate that may be used during 2013 toward membership or other MWGA events. Registration is available at www.mwgolf.org. Entry deadline is 10 days prior to the competition, or June 28.

A new membership in MWGA costs $35/year and offers the opportunity to meet and golf with a variety of women golfers plus many other benefits:
• Rules and skills clinics
