Motown Museum on tap for donation

motownDetroit’s historic Motown Museum is hoping customers of Batch Brewing Co., located in Corktown, are thirsty this month.
Launched on July 1, with every purchase of a Feelgood pint at the newly opened brewery, $2 will be donated to Motown Museum.
“Stephen is a great example of the entrepreneurial spirit [that is] alive and well in Detroit today that was a cornerstone of the success of Motown Records, evidenced by Berry Gordy’s groundbreaking vision and unwavering perseverance,” said Chairwoman and CEO of the Board of Trustees of Motown Museum Robin Terry.
In hopes of giving back to non-profits in Detroit, co-founder of Batch Brewery Stephen Roginson created Feelgood Tap. Feelgood Tap is a commitment in which Batch Brewery offers customers a unique beer and with the sale of that beer a portion of the proceeds are donated to a selected non-profit.
“Motown Museum is proud to partner with entrepreneurial businesses like Batch Brewery that are impacting Detroit’s bright future as a result of their focus and determination,” said Terry. “We are extremely grateful for the support this partnership will provide as we continue our mission to protect and preserve the Motown legacy.”
