Michigan School Districts Returning To Remote Learning With The Spike In COVID-19 Cases

With Michigan schools in session for the academic year, concerns about COVID-19 and in-person learning are continuing to rise.

Michigan school districts are making the tough decision to stick with virtual learning and pause talks of returning to the classroom.

School districts that once opened their school buildings to students, like West Bloomfield and Bloomfield Hills, have returned to remote learning. Others have remained cautious and are studying the situation closely.

The Troy School District required its high school students to return home less than a month after resuming in-person classes. Officials say they are monitoring the coronavirus and will determine the fate of its other students in the future.
