Michigan Fashion Week has built a premiere stage for emerging and established designers to showcase the growing industry of fashion and design talent in Michigan and the Midwest! The MFW showcase would be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at the Masonic Temple in Detroit, MI., with events leading up to the main event.
This year’s theme is an International fashion show, celebrating diversity, and culture by highlighting designers that specialize in cultural international couture wear. We will have designers representing Countries from all over the world. Through the merging of innovative, exclusive and passionate creators of the style industry, MFW is a platform for those in the state of Michigan to come together in support of their efforts and further promote economic and industry growth through the presentation, business affiliation, and media procurement.
Through the production of events, workshops and social gathering, MFW assist
designers and other industry participants in learning the business of fashion by creating invaluable exposure and networking opportunities and aligning them with experienced professionals and advocates of the industry and in business.

This is a private invite-only reception for the fashion leaders, media and sponsors of The Michigan Fashion Week 2020.

Thursday, February 27th
Sustainable Fashion Hands-on Event
Tech Town, Detroit 6 pm-8 pm
Hands-On Experience in the up-cycling fashion world: an intro to sustainable DIY fashion. Walk away with an up-cycling project you did right on the spot. All materials will be provided. Drinks and refreshments will be served.

Friday, February 28th
The Ultimate Beauty Event with Celebrity makeup artist Marv Dixon
Norstrom, Twelve Oaks Mall, Detroit 6 pm-8 pm
A live makeup demonstration and makeovers with Celebrity makeup artist Marv Dixon. Shop the newest makeup trends and even grab a few samples. This will be a load of makeup fun. Please RSVP to the event. It’s FREE.

The Michigan Fashion Week International Showcase + Expo
