Bieber renews calls for Schuette, Walberg, Bishop, Miller, Bergman to reject Trump

Ron Bieber, President of the Michigan AFL-CIO, issued the following statement on last night’s final presidential debate:
“For the third debate in a row, Hillary Clinton absolutely crushed Donald Trump. Tonight Hillary demonstrated once again that she has the experience and steadiness we need in the White House to bring people together and get real results for Michigan’s working families.

“This debate was Trump’s last chance to prove that he has the judgment and temperament to be President of the United States, and he failed miserably. Instead of bringing Americans together, Trump decided to end his campaign by attacking anyone and everyone who disagrees with him.

“The choice facing Michigan voters couldn’t be any clearer. We can either come together to build an economy that works for everyone, with good jobs for working people and a good education for our kids, or we can keep letting Donald Trump tear us apart with his dangerous ideas.

“Trump’s deeply offensive and divisive rhetoric should have no place in Michigan. Now is the time for Republican politicians like Bill Schuette, Tim Walberg, Mike Bishop, Candice Miller, and Jack Bergman to do the right thing for our great state by forcefully and unequivocally rejecting Donald Trump once and for all.”
