Southfield restaurant Beans & Cornbread is nominated for Best Soul Food Place in the nation by the Neighborhood Awards. Beans & Cornbread is the only Michigan restaurant nominated. The other three nominees are in Georgia (one restaurant) and D.C. (two restaurants).
