Detroit Entrepreneurs ​and Lions give to Covenant House Michigan

PumpHelping to make the season a bit brighter for the young residents of Covenant House Michigan (CHM), Detroit Lions’ Ziggy Ansah along with several teammates, Microsoft and help from two metro businesses, The Gentleman’s Box and retailer, Pink Pump hosted the 4th annual holiday ‘Lions Den Dinner’ on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.
Starters Bar & Grill in Detroit provided the dinner that the Lions players graciously helped serve to each resident. While eating and playing games provided my Microsoft, some 75+ youth received special gifts generously donated by The Gentleman’s Box (www.gentlemansbox.com) and the new Pink Pump retailer (www.pinkpump.com). The youth received ties, socks, lotion, shampoo, nail polish and other items donated by the two metro Detroit companies. “Giving is the real reason for the season, we are honored to be able to give back and help the communities in which we serve and live in,” said Chris George, CEO of Gentleman’s Box.
“I was eager to participate in this years 4th Annual ‘Lion Den Dinner’”, said Kelly Kirkwood, CEO of Pink Pump. Giving back is a reflection of our brand promise and as a business owner, it’s my job to support and be engaged in community initiatives.”
