McDONALD’S MODERNIZES NORTHWEST DETROIT LOCATION

“We encourage everyone to join us for the festivities as we unveil our new dynamic restaurant to the community,” said Potts. “Customers will have the opportunity to sample new, delicious menu board items like our Bacon Habanero Ranch Quarter Pounder and the seasonal Dulce de Leche Shake, while enjoying live entertainment.”
During the event customers will be offered a free medium fries with the purchase of a new Quarter Pounder burger, $0.50 ice cream cones and 50 percent off all McCafé beverages.
Highlights of the redesigned restaurant include a new building exterior, landscaping that complements the community and a dual-lane drive-thru. Inside, customers will enjoy a complete lobby remodel that offers comfortable lighting and an earth tone color palette. The seating area features booths with leather bucket seats, a variety of sectionals and tables, and Wi-Fi access throughout the restaurant.
In 2011, McDonald’s USA announced a $1 billion investment to redesign the majority of its 14,000 U.S. restaurants by 2015. McDonald’s and its franchisees remodeled 600 restaurants and rebuilt 200 nationwide in 2011. It improved on that total in 2012, targeting 800 new remodels, 225 rebuilds and 175 new store openings – a 24 percent total increase in renovations over the previous year.
