She’d never watched “Real Housewives of Atlanta” before joining the show:
“I certainly knew of them and the show and that sort of thing. I saw clips, but my world is inundated with kid TV since Sebastian was born.”
She admits she didn’t know what the word “shade” meant before recently:
“I didn’t, I didn’t, I heard ratchet but then when I’m talking and they’re like oh, that’s shade, I’m like, no that is not shade, I just don’t know.”
She reassures her longtime fans and admirers that she won’t be sucked down the proverbial rabbit hole of “ratchet-ness.”
“Don’t be scared, we are true to us. The woman that you all have helped to raise in your own way by pouring into my career and my spirit, that’s the same chick that shows up.”
