According to reports by FOX 2 News, Kwame Kilpatrick’s defense attorney has challenged the sentencing request made by federal prosecutors and is requesting an adjustment to the sentencing guidelines.
Kilpatrick’s lawyer, Harold Gurewitz, recommended a 15-year sentence for his client, who is facing 24 corruption convictions.
Kilpatrick’s sentence is scheduled for this Thursday, Oct. 10th along with co-defendant Bobby Ferguson.
