Kanye is becoming more infamous for his random, out-of-pocket rants, than his music lately. Just last month, West took a stab at close friend Jay-Z and his collaboration with Justin Timberlake for “Suit and Tie”, declared he didn’t give *bad word* about what the president thinks of him. His rants also include going off on the Grammys because he was snubbed this year and corporations who want him to do advertisements.
As far as this week’s rant goes, MTV had this to say:
MTV’s “Hottest MCs in the Game VIII” takes the temperature of who’s hot right now. The ranking is based on criteria, and a majority vote — a vote that does not include moderator and MTV News Correspondent Sway Calloway. Panelists must consider and weigh in on lyrics, impact, sales, buzz, style (also known as flow) and the intangibles, like star quality.
Tune into MTV Jams tonight at 10 p.m to see the Top 3 Hottest MC’s in the Game. Maybe we’ll get lucky and Nicki Minaj will go off about being snubbed during American Idol.
