Kamala Harris to Visit Flint and Detroit

Democratic vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris will campaign in Flint and Detroit on Tuesday, the Biden-Harris campaign announced Sunday.

The political camp, who previously gave little detail regarding the event, released more information Monday afternoon.

Harris will begin her visit with a tour of small businesses in Flint that have been impacted by the pandemic. Further details on the start of the tour are to come.

The California senator is set to travel to Detroit and participate in a roundtable conversation with Black men on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday evening, Harris will be an active participant in a voter mobilization event meant to garner attention for National Voter Registration Day and highlight Sept. 24, Michigander’s first day at the ballot box.

The presidential election is taking place Tuesday, Nov. 3. Michiganders can vote in-person or via absentee ballot by October 30.
