Detroit Conservation Leadership Corps (CLC) which consists of 80 Detroit high school students participating in a green summer jobs program created and sponsored by Johnson Controls, Inc. in partnership with the Student Conservation Association and The Greening of Detroit will take over Belle Isle for Volunteer Greening Day. Johnson Controls employees will work alongside the CLC teams at several Detroit-area park locations on hands-on conservation projects and share an environmental learning experience. Volunteers will be on Belle Isle July 31 at 10 a.m.
