Husband Ran Over By Wife For ‘Letting Obama Win’ Faces Permanent Disfigurement

Last week, Holly Solomon (pictured above, below right) made headlines, after mowing down her husband because he did not vote in this year’s presidential election, “allowing” President Barack Obama to win re-election. According to court documents, doctors are saying that Daniel (pictured below), who is in critical condition, may have “permanent disfigurement” from the near-fatal injuries he sustained from his pregnant wife, according to the Daily Mail^[1].

Last week, Holly was reportedly arguing with her husband about the election results, when he got out of the car to get away from her. Reportedly forced to hide behind a light post, Daniel’s increasingly belligerent wife literally drove circles around him while screaming at him. According to eye witnesses, Holly allegedly hit Daniel with her car when he tried to make a run for it.

Holly reportedly told police later that she mistakenly stepped on the accelerator when she only meant to scare him.

A caller told a 911 dispatcher, “He got out of the car and she was screaming at him. And he started walking away and she started driving in circles around him and she wouldn’t let him go so finally he took off to try to get away and she ran in to him.”

Daniel, who has been on the brink of death since the incident, suffered “massive injuries.” The Daily Mail reports:

Mr Solomon suffered massive injuries, including a broken pelvis, torn arteries to his bowels and possible permanent disfigurement.”

Even though the 2012 presidential election was known to polarize the Gilbert, Ariz., town between party lines, according to residents, no one reportedly imagined that such violence could erupt within a family.

But Holly’s disdain for the President was intense, with Daniel once saying that his wife “just hated Obama.”

As for Holly, she was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and reckless driving.

What a tragedy.
