Dr. Randall McPherson is a board-certified Family Medicine physician, healthcare leader, and military officer dedicated to advancing patient care and improving community health. A Kalamazoo, Michigan, native, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine before completing his Family Medicine Residency through the Detroit Medical Center/Michigan State University Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dedicated to improving the health of underserved communities, Dr. McPherson chose to build his career in Detroit, where he now serves as Center Medical Director at Oak Street Health/CVS Health. He also proudly serves as a Major in the United States Army Reserve, supporting the health and medical readiness of America’s Soldiers. A proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on Detroit’s sports teams, and mentoring future physicians while leading with integrity, humility , compassion and excellence.
