Lynda S. Jackson

Lynda S. Jackson is a dedicated labor leader, educator, and community advocate committed to empowering working families through education, transparency, and servant leadership. She proudly serves as the elected three-term Recording Secretary of UAW Local 7 and is a certified Labor Studies instructor through the UAW International Education Department, the University of Michigan, and Wayne State University. With more than 16 years at Stellantis’ Detroit Assembly Complex–Jefferson, Lynda has built a reputation for integrity, effective communication, and member engagement. She also served as the former District 7 Manager for the City of Detroit, appointed by Mayor Mary Sheffield, where she strengthened relationships between residents and city government. Lynda remains committed to transparency, communication, and always putting people first in every role she serves while developing future leaders and strengthening communities.
