Damiana Sorrell is a youth development executive, educator, and doctoral candidate dedicated to expanding opportunities for the next generation of leaders. As Chief Program Officer for Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan, she drives a strategic vision that expands access to transformative programs equipping girls with the confidence, skills, and experiences to thrive. Her work focuses on leadership, STEAM, career readiness, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and life skills. Beyond her executive leadership, Damiana’s doctoral research explores educational equity and school choice, bridging research with real-world impact.
