Chris Jackson

Chris is a dedicated public servant and policy leader committed to advancing equity, innovation, and opportunity across Michigan. As a Pontiac City Councilman and Director of Policy & Innovation at Honor Community Health, he leads initiatives focused on addressing health inequities and improving outcomes for underserved communities. Previously, Chris served as Executive Director of the Michigan Legislative Black Caucus, where he worked alongside legislators, advocates, and communities across the state to advance policies that expand access to resources and create more equity. He also served as Chairman of the Board of the National Cannabis Industry Association, helping shape national conversations around cannabis policy and industry development. Throughout his career, Chris has built a reputation for collaborative leadership, strategic advocacy, and a deep commitment to public service. Whether in local government, healthcare, or statewide policy, he remains focused on creating lasting, meaningful change that strengthens and improves lives within his community.
