Belvin is an investor at ID Ventures, and early stage VC fund based in Detroit. Before IDV Belvin was employee #2 at what is now known as Bridge Marketplace, a fintech responsible for connecting small-to-medium-sized businesses with community banks, regional banks, CDFIs, and other lending partners. At Bridge Belvin managed relationships with different lenders, primarily minority-owned financial institutions, helped with product development, strategic partnerships, and marketing. Prior to Bridge Belvin was a technology banker at Citibank providing large technology companies with large debt facilities and other bank products. Belvin is a born and raised Detroiter who earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from Indiana University.
