#Hashtag Lunchbag Detroit has released their volunteering dates for 2020. Events will take place on the following dates:

Each event will be held at the Footlocker Community Store in Eastpointe, MI.
Ending world hunger, one lunch bag at a time, is the slogan for the international organization. #Hashtag Lunchbag began in Los Angeles in 2012 through the Living Through Giving Foundation. Founder of #Hashtag Lunchbag Ajay Relan said that he started the movement with friends in his apartment. “#Hashtag Lunchbag began on Christmas 2012 in a Los Angeles apartment by a group of friends who were having trouble finding fun and meaningful ways to give back,” said Relan. “After a few failed attempts, we decided to take it upon ourselves and create our own experience.” What started on Christmas Day has extended to 22 cities in the U.S., including Canada, and fed over 20,000 people. #Hashtag Lunchbag Detroit commenced in the summer of 2013 for the united premise of tackling homelessness and ending widespread hunger.
