‘Good Day Selfie Museum’ to Bring Interactive Smiles to Ferndale

Catherine Tolbert-Wilson wants to bring a good day to metro Detroiters and is doing so one smile at a time.

Tolbert-Wilson, a Ferndale High School graduate and recent graduate of Central Michigan University, will host an upcoming opening next week of the Good Day Selfie Museum, an immersive self-serve photography studio featuring 20+ unique interactive exhibits and photo opportunities. Visitors are invited to attend and make memories by taking photos and videos, according to a press release.

The official public opening is slated for Friday, July 16.

Tolbert-Wilson, a 22, graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor of applied arts in interior design and a minor in business administration used her degree to design and open the selfie museum, per the press release.

The 3,000-square-foot building is in the heart of Ferndale. The museum owner and interior designer, Tolbert-Wilson, personally designed and curated each of the 20+ unique interactive exhibits and her dream will soon be realized of opening her own business.

The Good Day Selfie Museum is an immersive self-serve photography studio located in downtown Ferndale. The Museum has over 20 unique selfie opportunities include a special 360° photo booth, with a camera that rotates around guests.
