“It’s a condensed menu, condensed down to suit our concept,” said owner Cedric Lee in an interview with Eater Detroit. “But the food is identical to any of the other Sy Thais. The only thing we had to cut out was the more complex made to order stuff.” There are Sy Thai restaurants in Birmingham, St. Clair Shores and Troy, and the new Detroit location arrives as the network nears its 20th anniversary later this summer.
