On Saturday, July 11, 2 pm, the Educational Arts Society, a nonprofit, will present a film documentary titled “The Unsung Musicians of the Motown Empire” at the Main Branch Detroit Public Library.
Although these musicians — such as Ernie Rodgers and Marcus Belgrave — played on Motown records and well beyond, they have not been recognized to the extent that their talent and achievements merit.
There is no charge to attend the screening, but donations will be much appreciated.
