What could you do with a slice of the $66 billion pie that is in unclaimed funds in the Paycheck Protection Program that Black and other businesses can still apply for over the next two months.
According to an article from Black Enterprise, the Small Business Administration (SBA) is reporting that this amount of money available as of March 30. The funding can be sought after with the PPP Extension Act of 2021 recently signed by President Joe Biden. It lengthens the PPP application deadline from March 31 until May 31. The law also offers the SBA an extra 30-day period until June 30, to process the applications to help businesses cope with the economic hardships from COVID-19.
