Get a Taste Eminem’s ‘Mom’s Spaghetti’ Opening Wednesday in Detroit

Clear your calendar for this Wednesday, September 29 — Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant is coming to Detroit, Eater Detroit reported.

The name for the restaurant on tap, as many know, is from his popular song Lose Yourself: “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.”

Based on promotional material from a commercial on Channel 7, the new restaurant (that’s already garnering national attention) will be located at 2131 Woodward Ave. across from Comerica Park, according to the article. The opening for Mom’s Spaghetti is slated for 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 29. The new restaurant is in good company — Union Assembly recently opened up nearby in District Detroit.

According to the article, Mom’s Spaghetti is not a new idea as the rapper opened up a pop-up at the Shelter in 2017. Also, last year, Eminem served the famous spaghetti to frontline workers at Henry Ford and DMC hospitals, according to the article.
