Tommy Stallworth, Senior Advisor, Governor Gretchen Whitmer
Tommy Stallworth is a lifelong advocate for Detroit and currently serves as Senior Advisor to Governor Gretchen Whitmer. With a historic distinction as the first Chairman of both the Michigan Legislative Black Caucus and the Detroit Caucus, he also held key roles in the House Democratic Leadership Team.

Tarence Wheeler, Founder and CEO of the Tarence Wheeler Foundation, is a Detroit native. Tarence’s volunteer efforts have impacted over 105,000 lives. His All-Star Giveback initiative has distributed 23,500 Thanksgiving turkeys to Wayne County families in need. Elder Varnado is an active participant in the Franklin Wright Settlements’ Food and Friendship Program since the summer of 2022. Committed to promoting health and well-being among his peers, he takes on the role of a physical fitness instructor for older adults within the program. He finds joy in
giving back to both his peers and the community, embodying a spirit of generosity and community engagement.
Stacie Hunter, Community Manager Vice President, JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Stacie Hunter currently serves as the Community Manager Vice President at JPMorgan Chase. Stacie extends her passion for financial literacy by teaching classes to older adults in Franklin Wright Settlements’ Senior Outreach Services Program.
Furthermore, she imparts valuable financial knowledge to children through the Afterschool Enrichment Program. Stacie Hunter’s multifaceted commitment to community and financial education reflects her dedication to empowering individuals
across generations.
