Former mayoral candidate Lisa Howze the victim of home invasion

DETROIT (WJBK) –
Former Detroit mayoral candidate Lisa Howze took to social media Wednesday to question whether an invasion at her home was payback for endorsing Mike Duggan.

Howze posted on her Facebook page that thieves kicked in her back door and stole $53 from a room on the first floor. She later told police she hid under an upstairs bed during the incident.

“Do you think this was a coincidence?” Howze asked her Facebook fans, in regards to her earlier endorsement of former Detroit Medical Center CEO Mike Duggan for mayor.
