Former Bad Boy Rapper Black Rob Passes Away at 51

Former Bad Boy Rapper Black Rob passed away recently at 51 years old, ESSENCE recently reported.

The “Whoa” Hip Hop star suffered from kidney faiulre and died shortly after the music community already was dealt a blow by the death of DMX.

The Buffalo, NY rapper, aka Robert Ross, was a former Bad Boy artist and shared not too long ago that he was homeless and battled health issues,, which DJ Self confirmed according to the article.

“Oh man, I’ve been dealing with this for five years,” Rob admitted. “Four strokes … I don’t know what to tell you man. Sh!# is crazy. The shi!& is hard. I don’t got no house to live in — except maybe an apartment. Me and my man be trying to get [it] together. I’m telling you man, this shit is strange. It’s hard, you know what I’m saying?”

Diddy has since reached out to help Rob, and Puff let it be known that he wanted to makw sure that Rob was taken care of.

Rob was part of Bad Boy Records’ in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, according to the article. He was also behind making the “Harlem Shake” dance popular.
