The Fifth Third eBus is back! At 11 a.m. on Aug. 12 Fifth Third Bank will kick off its 2010 eBus Tour at the Unemployment Insurance Agency, Problem Resolution Office, located at 33523 W. Eight Mile Road in Livonia in the North Ridge Shopping Center.

The eBus is a 40-foot touring bus retrofitted with a bank of Internet-connected laptops and a private consultation area as needed. The eBus has been assisting Southeastern Michigan residents since 2004 by bringing valuable information and resources to help improve the quality of life of residents, right where they are — in their neighborhoods.

One of the features of the bus this year is to help individuals realize their financial goals. Last week Fifth Third Dream Book inserts were included in the Michigan Chronicle.  The books are designed to help people set, maintain and clearly define savings goals. The workbook includes a chart to help know and understand your debt-to-income ratio to get a sense of your credit health.  The Dream workbooks are also available at Fifth Third branches in Detroit.

Bring your completed workbook to any one of the eBus sites and a staff member can review it with you. While you are on the bus you can sign up to win a $250 Home Depot gift card.

Some of the other resources on the bus will include, but will not be limited to, assisting people in finding resources for career retraining, healthcare for children, and how to sign up for assistance from service organizations in the Metro Detroit area.

The 2010 eBus Tour would like to thank all of its site and program partners for their hard work and dedication to the program and the community:
